LEXINGTON, Va. -- Bates senior field hockey captain and defender Jillian Conway has been selected to play in the 2014 Victory Sports Tours / NFHCA Division III Senior Game.

The game is to be played at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Va., this Saturday, November 22 at 4pm.

Conway (Andover, Mass.) scored two goals on 12 shots -- the only two scores of her career -- and assisted on another goal in the 2014 season to rank third on the Bobcats in points (5). The team co-captain, who also plays varsity lacrosse at Bates, finished her career with two goals, four assists and two defensive saves.

It is the third postseason honor received by a Bates field hockey player in two days. On Monday, first-year players Delaney Nalen (Englewood, Colo.) and Caroline O'Reilly (Longmeadow, Mass.) were named Second Team All-Region by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
