LEWISTON, Maine -- The Bates baseball team's weekend series with Bowdoin has been entirely relocated to be played at Colby, while Wednesday's game at Thomas College has been rescheduled as well.
The Bobcats (7-5) will now play their non-conference game against Thomas on Thursday. The game will be played at Colby's Coombs Field in Waterville.
Bates' three-game NESCAC East Division series against Bowdoin was originally slated as a Bates home game on Friday and a Saturday doubleheader at Bowdoin. All three games will now be played at Colby, with Bates as the nominal home team on Friday and the nominal visiting team on Saturday. Game times are unchanged: 3pm on Friday, with the doubleheader starting at noon on Saturday.
