Why I chose Bates: I chose Bates for its rigorous academics (shoutout senior thesis), competitive athletic conference, the beautiful campus, and Commons of course! Bates has everything to offer from proximity to amazing hiking trails and beaches, to a friendly and passionate community, and every academic endeavor I am eager to explore from neuroscience, to geology, to music.
One Fun Fact! I am a nationally certified EMT in Maine and Rhode Island and got to be part of two neurosurgeries this past summer.
