Lewin and Garcia-Bou lead men's golf to victory in Colby Classic

OAKLAND, Maine -- Sophomores Julien Lewin and Andrew Garcia-Bou combined for a 71 to help the Bates College golf team win the Colby College Classic at the Waterville Country Club on Sunday.

The tourney has three pairs of golfers for each team. Holes one to six are scramble format, holes seven to 12 are best ball, and the final six holes are alternate shot. 
Ryan Chasse and Zach Gagne of Thomas College earned medalist honors with a 70. 
Bates had a total team score of 217 to win the five-team tourney.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday at Brunswick Golf Club when they compete in the CBB Tournament.
