Fay, Ulbrick, Allard named All-NESCAC in men's lacrosse

HADLEY, Mass. -- Junior Charlie Fay and senior Jack Allard both repeated as All-NESCAC selections and junior Fred Ulbrick was also honored as the New England Small College Athletic Conference released its Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams Thursday.

Fay (Falmouth, Maine) was named a First Team midfielder for the second straight year, while Allard (Ridgewood, N.J.) received his second straight Second Team All-NESCAC nod at attack. Ulbrick (Fairfield, Conn.) was one of three defenders named to the First Team.

Fay and Allard have combined to score 89 goals this season; Fay ranks fourth in the league with his career-high 45 goals, in addition to six assists and 31 ground balls. Allard has 44 goals with 21 assists and 33 ground balls this season. 

Allard is tied for fifth in the NESCAC in goals with 44, as well as third in the league in points (a career-high 65) and 12th in assists (a career-high 21). The one-time All-America selection has 149 goals in his career.

Ulbrick, a 2015 All-New England selection from the NEILA along with Allard, Fay and junior Kyle Weber (Chagrin Falls, Ohio), leads the Bobcats in caused turnovers (20) and has committed only three turnovers while collecting 27 ground balls. 

The No. 12 nationally ranked Bobcats (11-4) have matched their program record for victories in a season and seek to receive their second straight at-large bid to the NCAA Division III tournament. The tournament selection show will air on NCAA.com on Sunday at 9pm.
