HADLEY, Mass. – Bates College men's track and field collected eight All-NESCAC honors as junior Sean Enos, seniors Jarret McKallagat and John Wisener, and sophomore Rudy Pandora earned plaudits, the New England Small College Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday.
The top three finishers from each event at this past Saturday's NESCAC Championships held at Colby gained All-NESCAC recognition.
Enos (Lynnfield, Mass.) took home first place in the discus throw (154-5) and the hammer throw (173-7) while also finishing second in the shot put (51-5.5) to garner All-NESCAC laurels in all three disciplines. The St. John's Prep product now has eight All-NESCAC honors in his career.
McKallagat (Atkinson, N.H.) won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.68 seconds and came in second in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking in at 54.28 seconds, to capture the third and fourth All-NESCAC honors of his career.
Wisener (Ridgewood, N.J.) snagged second place in the pole vault at 14-7.25 to gain All-NESCAC recognition for the second time after finishing second in the same event last year.
Pandora (Lewiston, Maine) gathered the first two All-NESCAC honors of his career with third-place finishes in both the shot put (48-2) and discus (134-8).
