  • Vote Peter Steenstra for Fan’s Choice – Collegiate Coach of the Year

    Steenstra has served as the head coach for Bates College since 2009. In his time, he has coached the women to three Division III NCAA titles, as well as the men’s first-ever bid to the IRA National Championships.

    The 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year Award went to University of Georgia track and field athlete Keturah Orji, but Bates graduate and three-time NCAA Division III women's rowing champion Amelia Wilhelm's star shined brightly, as she was one of nine finalists feted at an awards dinner Sunday night in Indianapolis.

  • Amelia Wilhelm named one of nine finalists for 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year

    Bates College graduate Amelia Wilhelm is one step closer to adding NCAA Woman of the Year honors to the three NCAA Division III women's rowing championships she has helped Bates win over four years.
