Designed for the elite female soccer player who has a desire to play in college, campers who attend will partake in a unique opportunity to gain insight into the collegiate student-athlete experience by using the same athletic facilities, fields, and dining halls as current student-athletes at Bates.
"Attending our clinic and/or camp allows prospective student-athletes to get an in-depth view on what it means to be a Bobcat. Students can showcase their talents in our facilities, amongst our staff and current players," said head coach Kelsy Ross. "We really enjoy the opportunity to get to know prospects better in the clinic and/or camp environment."
The one-day clinic includes three field sessions, a meal in the Bates College dining hall, and an off-field discussion period. Participants will be exposed to various aspects of the Bobcat program.
The camp will be two and a half days consisting of technical and tactical training as well as game play. Campers will also have the opportunity to experience a strength and conditioning segment, film break down, and question & answer sessions.
Both clinic and camp will take place on the campus of Bates College located in Lewiston, Maine. Coach Ross and assistant coach Jordan May will lead daily activities.
Space is limited for both events. View the Elite Clinic and Elite Camp brochures to learn more about these events and how to register.
