    When seniors Olivia Amdur, Cassidy McCarns and Sarah Gutch were first-years, they played key roles in helping the Bates women's soccer team achieve its best record in league play since 2005, turning in a mark of 4-3-3 to finish the regular season in fifth place in the conference. As a result, Bates made its first NESCAC postseason appearance since 2010 and its second appearance in nine seasons. The Bobcats finished the season at 7-6-3 overall, registering their best winning percentage since 2006. At the end of the season, head coach Kelsy Ross was named the NESCAC Coach of the Year.  Now as seniors, the trio will look to bookend their careers with another run to the conference tournament.
