LEWISTON, Maine -- The No. 24 nationally ranked Bates women's squash team swept seven matches on its way to a 9-0 victory over No. 27 Mount Holyoke Sunday afternoon at the Bates College Squash Center.

Sophomore Luca Polgar (Budapest, Hungary) led the way at the No. 1 position with a 3-0 (11-2, 11-3, 11-3) victory over the Lyons' Brandy Williamson. The Bobcats gave junior captain Vicky Arjoon (Georgetown, Guyana) the day off so everyone moved up a spot in the lineup, with junior Kristyna Alexova (Boskovice, Czech Republic) winning 3-0 (11-8, 11-4, 13-11) at the No. 2 position over Ragini Ghose.
