    The Bates women's track and field team won four events and saw some big personal records fall Saturday at the Bowdoin Invitational, a non-scoring meet with Bowdoin, Colby, Wheaton (Mass.), Colby-Sawyer, Regis (Mass.), St. Joseph's, UMaine-Farmington and Unity.

    The Bates women's track and field team had a strong start to the 2019 indoor season in a tri-meet with MIT and Colby on Saturday, winning seven events and scoring 117 points to No. 4 nationally ranked MIT's 155. Colby was third as a team with 60 points.
